I wanted to keep the colours in this one simple and let the detail be in the sun, the golden edge of the sun and the bold colours of the border. The simplity also reflects the simple Italian island way of life. I added a fine gold edge to the sun to give it an extra detail you'd only notice up close along with many layers of worn in texture - to create a vintage effect like this has been on a wall for many years.
