Ordering

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Afterpay.

Is it safe to use my credit card through the online store?

All transactions placed through the Atlas online store are processed through Stripe, which is a safe payment system. 

Alternatively you could pay through PayPal.

What does pre-order on a product mean?

Some product such as the Travel Scarves and Travel Sarongs are released on a pre-order basis.

This allows us to make the right amount for product to avoid wastage and generally means limited qualities. As these products are made in Italy there is a bit of a wait with production. Pre-order allows you to secure your purchase, ahead of the piece being available for delivery.

Full payment is required for Pre-order, and notification of shipment will be delivered to your email account once dispatched.

You’ll receive an email if there’s any updates.

What packaging will my purchase be sent in?

All unframed art prints and artworks are sent in a protective tissue paper and a thick mail tube for all domestic and international orders. 

Framed art prints and art works are bubble wrapped and/or sent in a protective fitted cardboard box to help minimise impact in transit.

Generally framed artworks and art prints will only available for shipping within Australia, if you are interested in a framed artwork please emailinfo@adriannedesign.com.auand we can organise a separate invoice for international shipping.

Will I be charged tax on my purchase?

All prices are displayed inclusive of GST (10% tax). 

International orders are exempt from this tax, which is removed from the order subtotal after shipping information is entered at the checkout.

How does the commission process work?

The process starts with a conversation or email with your ideas, colours, size ect, for your commissioned piece.

Any photos, colours, words you’d like included are welcomed to be sent through. 


A 50% deposit is required before we commence with the artwork and the remaining 50% total is to be paid along with the shipping fee, upon completion before dispatch.


I research the location and welcome any guidance on details of the location and language/words you’d like included. 

I create concept drawings and work these into a digital mock up for you.

This helps demonstrate how the painting will take shape but keep in mind this is digital version, paint colours and layout may change in the creative/painting process.


Once I have your approval from the mock up, I’ll move onto painting the canvas and texturing the artwork, you’ll be updated as I go with the paint.


Once finished, I’ll send photos and videos of the piece to you and once confirmed it’s ready to go, it will be shipped out to you.



Depending at the time, I may have a waiting list or exhibition work to factor in. This can change but generally turn around times once the commission is confirmed are:


Small to Medium painting, around 6-10 weeks.

Medium to Large painting, around 8-12 weeks


(These timings usually depend on details and any input and if there’s changes needed that will take more time.)


Atlas ships with professional art couriers throughout the East Coast of Australia and TNT for Western Australia and other rural areas of Aust.

International shipping is with either TNT or DHL. Initially the process will start with a quoted amount, this price may change within the time period of creation. Insurance is always included within these quotes.


Please note: All Australian sales include GST and the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

How are Original Artworks shipped within Australia?

Atlas uses specialised art movers to deliver original artwork and prints to their new homes. 

These pieces are packaged appropriately for transit and handling.

Can you ship my order internationally?

Yes, Atlas ships internationally for Art Prints, Holiday Wear and Tableware.

For Original Artworks we definitely can arrange shipping to you but this would be arranged with a sparely invoice to your location. 

Please note, international orders may incur an import/customs tax payable on arrival. The customer is liable to pay this tax to receive the goods.

Atlas is not responsible for any products that are sent back to Australia if customs tax is not paid.

How will I know my order has been received?

After your order is placed, you will receive a notification to your email account that your order has been received.

Please note, your order is not confirmed until payment has been received & items prepared for dispatch. At this point a notification will be sent to your email account regarding the shipment information and tracking link.

When will I receive my order?

For Art Prints that are not Pre-order handling time is currently :

Print Only: 4-7 working days

Framed Prints: 4-6 weeks

For Holiday Wear and Tableware these are dispatched within 2-4 days sent with Standard Post with Australia Post.


Original Artworks depends on the delivery times of the art courier, we can arrange upon your purchase.

 

Please note the above turnaround times and do not include shipping timelines.

Shipping times may vary to rural and remote communities.

What your refund/exchange policy?

As Atlas art prints are made to order, all sales are final. This is exempt if the artwork happens to get damaged during transit. 

In the rare case that this happens, please email info@adriannedesign.com.au as soon as possible with images of your order.
 

Atlas recommends that you measure your space and take framing dimensions into account before ordering. If you need any help with advise on this please email: info@adriannedesign.com.au


However this is exempt for Atlas Holiday Wear and Tableware. An exchange or refund will be made for product that are sent back within 14 days of purchase and in it’s original packaging with no sign of use.
