This artwork was inspired by the water buffalo in Indonesia, particularly in Sumba, where herds of them walk down the mountain roads to the beach and back each day. They stop traffic, trucks full of people and everything around them slows right down while everyone waits for the herd to pass.

You get used to these moments becoming part of everyday life. Even when you find yourself in a rush, it feels like a little reminder from the universe to slow down and take it all in.
