Long Jump Cigarettes is a personal interpretation of Indonesian kretek cigarettes, shaped by my experiences traveling through the Mentawai villages on scooter. Riding through these villages, we often passed cloves drying on the road, with their distinct scent filling the air. That sensory memory became a central part of this work.

I included the Javan leopard as a symbol of Indonesian landscape. A rare, agile and elusive creature that’s also descriptive of the name Long Jump.
